It's been 4 weeks ago when I last took pictures of one of the most incredible morning sun rises by the lake. And this was the display this morning. Crispy - 20C, but again, peace and pure nature all around. Except that my fingers got really cold really fast. But there is no better way to start your day, then watching a beautiful day unfold itself.

My friends are here to visit

Only a few days ago we were still windsurfing, enjoying warmth and sunshine and this is the view from my office window today.
The pictures were taken 5 minutes ago. Time to feed my friends again.
Neo had to watch also from the window.

A sail to remember..

We have been keeping an eye on the weather fore cast all week, hoping it wouldn't change and we would have balm temperatures and wind on Remembrance day.A day where the kids have school and Brad and me are both off, which hardly ever happens. After we went out for breakfast, we woke up our surfing buddy Strat and started rigging sails. We haven't been able to windsurf for over four weeks, due to cold temperatures, rain and snow. But today was the day. As soon as we got on the water we were yahooing each other, planning in the foot straps. I was on my gear I just love the most, my Bic and my 7.1m sail. It's like wearing your most favourite sweater. It just fits perfect and makes you feel great. We sailed for 2 1/2 hours, enjoying the warm November sun and the sound of the waves splashing on your board. It was my 74th. session this summer and if you like to do a little number game and have an interest in the phylosophy of Kabala and Numerology. The number 7 represents "Victory", 4 stands for "Action. If you add the 7 to the 4 it equals 11, which means "spiritual power". Now, if you take all the letters of my name and add them to 74 it finalizes to 15, which means "Magic".
All in all a sail to remember.

Pine cone creations

Here are few very simple ideas for everybody to make a wreath or a center piece, simply out of pine cones. Usually we use pine cones just for accent fillers in wreaths or center pieces. But they also look charming just by themselvess in a bowl, a candle ring or as a little ornament on the Christmas tree. Easy to make with a solid wreath frame and a hot glue gun. Pine cones can be scented or spray painted for effect.
