Take a moment
We woke up to a pretty frosty, but clear and sunny morning. Our season's changed so quick here, and it is hard to believe, that only 12 days ago it was 29 C+ and now the leaves turned so quick and here we are, it's fall. But what a beautiful display it was down at the lake. Not a sound, just the mist moving on the water, like it would dance to music, we can't hear.
The Chinese believe, that mist is the meeting of earth and sky and charges you with positive energy. How often do we just sit, watch and listen with all the hustling and full schedules in our lives. Not, that we don't want it any different. But sometimes you sure have to think how much more our ancestor's, just sat, watched and I'm sure they could here the music the mist was dancing too. I'm glad I was able to be part of this meeting and hope to get my day started right.

You SO beat my morning... the subway system was having signalling problems, so after 45 minutes waiting in the tunnel, stuck in a train, they got us to a stop and told everyone we had to leave. Then Allen and I had to take the subway back north home to get our car and drive to work. Took me 2 hours to get to work this morning :(

Guin, I was thinking about you and Al this morning down at the lake. City life definitely doesn't leave much room for peacefulness. But we envy you for all the great choices of dining out, shopping and fun stuff the city offers you. Make sure you plan a trip back home soon...

Nice Pictures. I wish i lived near a place that has such nice imagery. We are still holding on to our decent temps but they are calling for wind chills tomorrow morning. I only know Winter is just around the corner. Speaking of pictures, i will be taking some new garage pictures soon. The driveway is complete and looks very nice. You amaze me! Funny that a post can bring tears to your eyes. Words can't even describe the beauty.
I was driving yesterday, turned off the noise of the radio, and 'listened to the rain'. Nice!

Schöne Herbstfotos, wir wurden auch noch für den schlechten August entschädigt. Es ist ein wunderschöner September und langsam verfärben sich auch bei uns die Blätter. Der Oma habe ich deine mail gegeben. Sie war am Montag auf dem Oktoberfest mit der Emmi.Also bis dann Ursel
